SAD news about OOMPA......

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

Thank you BizzyBee for posting OOMPA’s picture. Its’ nice to put a name to a face. It makes his death more meaningful and significant.
Many believe that OOMPA’s passing is WT related. If so, please Jehovah God make these suicides stop!
I've seen more than my share of tears of pain caused by this organization over the years.

Bear in mind many of us have overseers in our congregations who are a spitting image of one if not all three of these elders. Listening to these three and their comments defending TTATT honestly opens up past wounds. I’ve witnessed my share of tears of many R & F who have been dealt with unfairly over the years.
This taping of your JC offers some healing and relief!

That is the damnest truth.
I hadn’t thought of it that way but now that you mention it-especially is the ‘WATCHTOWER’ magazine treated like a 'Holy' writing among JWs. You don't dare speak against it!

The theme scripture used for this lesson is another tell-tale sign of problems in Paradise: ‘I entreat (beg) you to observe the oneness of the spirit.’ (Eph 4:1,3)
The article goes on to suggest/admit in paragraphs 8, 9, and 10 that fornication, adultery, uncleanness, families breaking up, inner conflict among congregation members and a cooling off in the ministry are problematic in WT world. And finally, JWs are being accused of brazen conduct.
I thought Jehovah’s Witnesses lived in a spiritual paradise!

The Three Stooges, Larry, Moe & Curly! That is who these three ‘elders’ remind me of. Their arguments are so laughable!
It is quite concerning to think that most bodies of elders could possibly be made up of one or more of this type of character.
I know our congregation of 7 elders has at least one full set of stooges.

Watchtower falsification of its history

i received an email with the following information that is worth sharing.. the 2011 yearbook goes to great lengths to elevate the truthfulness of watchtower information in even minor details, and criticise information from other sources.

so it is telling that the 2010 "jehovah's witnesses - faith in action, part 1" has omitted an important element of their history when re-enacting the 1922 cedar point convention.. under the heading "tracing all things with accuracy" the 2011 yearbook states: .

"jesus said that the faithful slave would be discreet in giving the domestics "their food at the proper time.
